In 2022, The Transforming Early Learning Visioning Summit led by The Apiary Fellowship created a space for diverse actors across the early childhood system to come together to launch a deeper, national conversation about the future.
In doing so, it was recognised that there is a need to create a new vision for early learning in Australia as this will enable everyone involved to develop strategies and pathways, build shared aspirations, and cultivate a collective purpose to transform the existing system.
The Front Project and the Apiary Fellowship are supporting this by bringing together diverse perspectives from children, families, communities, practitioners and leaders (in all shapes and sizes) across the early learning ecosystem to build a progressive early learning system for future generations in Australia.

The Transforming Early Learning (TEL) project is an initiative of the Front Project and the Apiary. In June 2023, the Front Project and The Apiary Fellowship (supported by Orange Compass) hosted three stand-alone Transformative Scenario workshops as part of the Transforming Early Learning (TEL) initiative.
