Angelle was born in Fiji and is proud of her rich cultural heritage, which includes Fijian Indian, Papua New Guinean, and Torres Strait Islander roots. Growing up surrounded by these cultures has shaped the person Angelle is today, instilling in her a deep appreciation for storytelling, connection, and learning from others.

Angelle spent most of her life in New Zealand before making the exciting move to Australia in 2024, where she now calls Tennant Creek, Northern Territory, home. 

As a member of the Grow Well team in Anyinginyi Public Health, Angelle is passionate about health promotion, particularly in supporting Mums and Bubs during the critical early years of childhood development. Being Torres Strait Islander, Angelle understands the significance of cultural sensitivity, empathy, and respect when working with Indigenous communities and strives to create meaningful connections, listen with care, and contribute to positive, lasting change.
